Banana Cream Soda Bread

Ingredient

Bread Flour                                 1,000    g
Sugar                               160    g
Instant Dry Yeast                             10    g
Milk Powder                          20   g
Margarine                               60   g
Bread Improver                               10 g
Salt                                   10  g
UHT Milk                       450     g
Eggs, whole                               2     pcs
Aluminium Foil Cup No. 2816, greased with shortening           45     pcs
Icing Sugar for dusting
Ingredients for Banana Cream Soda Custard
Banana, diced                           200     g
Custard Powder                               40     g
All Purpose Flour                           40   g
Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Cream Soda Flavored Syrup           200     g
Eggs, whole                                 6     pcs
Salt                                   ½     tsp

Method

Method
 
1.Mix all dry ingredients together with hook attachment on low speed. Gradually add eggs and milk. Mix roughly just to combine.
 
2.Add margarine. Change to medium speed. Mix for 12 minutes or till smooth. 
 
3.Cut and scale at 40 g each. Make round balls and place in aluminum foil cups. Proof till double in size.
 
4. Bake at 400 degree Fahrenheit for 10 minutes or till fully baked. Dust icing sugar before serving.
 


Method for Banana Cream Soda Custard 

1.Mix Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Cream Soda Flavored Syrup with all ingredients except bananas. Stir over heat till cooked. Add bananas and mix again. Remove from heat and leave to cool completely. 



Remark:Ratio of concentrated syrup and other ingredients can be adjusted according to consumers' preference in each region.
