Christmas Cookies
Ingredient
| Cake Flour | 250 | g |
| Cashew Nuts, toasted, ground | 50 | g |
| Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Cream Soda Flavored Syrup | 120 | g |
| Margarine | 150 | g |
| Butter, salted | 100 | g |
| Milk Powder | 50 | g |
| Ingredients (for Royal Icing) | ||
| Icing Sugar | 300 | g |
| Egg White | 50 | g |
| Cream of Tartar | ¼ | tsp |
| Food Coloring, any of your choice | ||
Method
1. Sift flour and milk powder together. Add ground cashew nuts. Set aside.2. Beat butter, margarine and sifted dry ingredients together with paddle attachment on low speed till butter scatters evenly. Add Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Cream Soda Flavored Syrup and mix till combined. Leave the dough for at least 1 hour.
3. Roll out the dough at approximately ½ cm thick. Cut with cookies cutters of any shape you preferred. Bake at 300 degree Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes. Once baked, leave to cool completely and decorate with Royal Icing.
Method (for Royal Icing)
1. Beat everything, except food coloring) together with whisk attachment on high speed till firm. Divide few to mix with any colors of your preference.
Remark :Ratio of concentrated syrup and other ingredients can be adjusted according to consumers' preference in each region.
