Two Tone Cendol

Ingredient

Tapioca Starch                                 400     g
Boiling Water                               250 – 300  g
Food Coloring, Green and Strawberry Red,               ¼   tsp each
Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Jasmine Flavored Syrup
Ice, crushed
Whipped Cream

Method

1. Mix tapioca starch with boiling water. Knead till smooth.
2. Divide dough into 2 parts and add food coloring.
3. Roll out to approximately ¼ inch thickness. Cut to desired stripes.
4. Boil cendol in boiling water till transparent. Blanch in cold water. Set aside.
5. Add cendol in serving glass. Pour Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Jasmine Flavored Syrup and crushed ice on top. Decorate with whipped cream. Serve.


Remark : Ratio of concentrated syrup and other ingredients can be adjusted according to consumers' preference in each region.
