Banana in Strawberry Syrup Pie

Ingredient

All Purpose Flour                     250     g
Icing Sugar                             100     g
Butter, salted                       150     g
Butter Cake, any recipe of your preference              200     g
Water                             100    g
Boat-Shaped Mould, greased with shortening                20   pcs
Salt                               ¼    tsp
Buttercream and Sugar Icing Flower for Decoration
Ingredients for Banana in Strawberry Syrup
Small Bananas, ripe                       10     pcs
Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Strawberry Flavored Syrup      750    g

Method

1.Sift all purpose flour with icing sugar and salt. Add into mixing bowl.
2.Add salted butter and beat with paddle attachment on low speed till sifted ingredients coated butter. Add water and mix well. Rest the dough for 15 minutes.
3.Line in tart mould and bake at 400 degree Fahrenheit for 12 minutes or till golden crispy. Remove from oven and leave to cool completely.
4.Add banana in strawberry syrup in the tart shell, covered with butter cake batter and bake again at 350 degree Fahrenheit for 15 – 20 minutes or till butter cake is cooked.
5. After baking, remove from mould and leave to cool completely. Decorate with buttercream and sugar icing flower.
