Chinese Dates in Strawberry Syrup Cake

| Milk Powder | 30 | g |
| Butter, salted | 250 | g |
| Condensed Milk | 50 | g |
| Sugar | 50 | g |
| Eggs | 5 | pcs |
| Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Strawberry Flavored Syrup | 1 | bottle |
| Salt | 1 | tsp |
| Vanilla Powder | ½ | tsp |
| Round Cake Mould, 8” diameter, greased, lined with paper and greased | 8 | pcs |
| Chinese Date, cut in stripes and red Maraschino cherries dipped in chocolate | ||
| Mint Leaves for decoration | ||
| Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Strawberry Flavored Syrup for serving | ||
Method
1.Immerse Chinese date in Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Strawberry Flavored Syrup overnight.
2.Place Chinese date in syrup in the bottom of cake mould nicely. Set aside.
3.Sift all purpose flour with baking powder, vanilla powder, milk powder and salt. Set aside.
4.Beat salted butter with condensed milk and sugar on medium speed for approximately 10 minutes or till fluffy. Change to low speed and add sifted ingredients. Mix till smooth.
5. Pour batter in prepared mould. Bake at 300 degree Fahrenheit for 40 – 45 minutes or till baked. Turn upside down and DO NOT remove immediately. Leave to cool completely. Cut into preferred size. Decorate with Chinese date, Maraschino cherry and mint leaves, Pour Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Strawberry Flavored Syrup over before serving.
Remark:Ratio of concentrated syrup and other ingredients can be adjusted according to consumers' preference in each region.
