Grape Pie
Ingredient
| Red Grapes, halved, Pitted | 200 | g |
| Shortening | 20 | g |
| Vol-au-Vent, baked | 10 | pcs |
| Water | 150 | g |
| Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Grape Flavored Syrup | 4 | tbsp |
| Modified Tapioca Starch | 2 | tbsp |
| Water, to mix with starch | 1 | tbsp |
| Chocolate Decoration | ||
Method
1.Mix red grapes with water. Cook till softened.2.Add Hale’s Blue Boy Concentrated Grape Flavored Syrup. Mix well.
3.Add starch mixed with water. Mix well till cooked and thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.
4.Pipe the custard in Vol-au-Vent till full. Decorate with chocolate decoration and serve.
Remark : Ratio of concentrated syrup and other ingredients can be adjusted according to consumers' preference in each region.
